Water treatment by reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis water treatment is a filtration process used mainly in the production of drinking water and the desalination (or desalination) of water. This technology uses extremely fine filters that retain all the molecules suspended in the water, excluding water molecules. The water obtained at the end of this treatment is therefore perfectly pure. It is a process used to soften seawater (highly loaded with mineral salts) in order to make it drinkable.
Reverse osmosis treatment is also regularly used in the case of very hard water (highly loaded with limestone) in order to get rid of it. The two main drawbacks of this process of desalination by reverse osmosis are the high cost of the filters and its high energy consumption.
