The DOSATRON® D3IL5EX is an ATEX certified, water-powered proportional dosing unit designed for controlled chemical injection in hazardous environments. It is specified for surface and mining industries and for installation in Zone 0, Zone 1, and Zone 2. Driven by the motive water flow, the unit provides proportional dosing without external electrical power at the point of dosing, supporting safer integration in potentially explosive atmospheres where ATEX compliance is required.

This dosing unit offers an injection range of 0.5–5%, enabling both micro and macro dosage settings through an ergonomic dosage adjustment mechanism. With a water flow range of 10 l/h to 3 m³/h and an operating water pressure range of 0.30–6 bar, the D3IL5EX is suited to a broad set of industrial dosing duties where process water conditions may vary. It supports concentrated additive injection from 0.05 to 150 l/h, allowing accurate chemical feed across low and higher dosing demands. The stroke volume is approximately 0.53 l. Connections are provided in NPT-BSP 3/4" (male), and the unit is supplied with a PVC hose (Ø 12×16 mm, length 1.75 m).
