Water-powered proportional dosing pump

Description

The DOSATRON® D6 IL 2 is a water-powered proportional dosing pump designed for accurate, reliable and homogeneous injection of additives directly into a water line. Operating without electricity, the unit uses the hydraulic energy of the flowing water to drive its internal motor and proportionally draw concentrate, helping maintain a consistent dosing ratio even when the water flow rate varies within its operating range.

For industrial applications requiring controlled chemical consumption, the D6 IL 2 provides externally adjustable proportional dosing from 0.2% to 2% (ratio 1:500 to 1:50). This makes it suitable for processes where repeatable dilution is critical to efficiency, such as chemical feed and additive blending operations. The dosing pump is specified for an operating flow range from 100 l/h up to 6 m3/h and an operating pressure range from 0.3 to 8 bar, covering low-flow to mid-flow installations while maintaining proportional injection performance.

The D6 IL 2 supports concentrated product injection rates from 0.2 l/h up to 120 l/h (depending on the selected dosing setting and the water flow). The connection specification is BSPT 1 1/4'' male with Ø 33 x 42 mm. This combination of dosing adjustability, broad flow/pressure capability and industrial connection sizing positions the D6 IL 2 as a robust solution for precise chemical control and optimized water and additives consumption in industrial dosing installations.
