Can raw water be made drinkable by UV treatment or is it necessarily by reverse osmosis?

Hello
UV will have a bactericidal effect. It will be necessary to take care of the maintenance of the lamp and its aging. UV does not bring the effect of remanence. 0.3ppm. A treatment will therefore depend on the quality of the raw water (a more precise description is required) and its use.
Hello,
I think you are an individual? We study all requests and respond according to raw water analyzes and good requirements. The study is free. Our UV treatments are certified even at 2m3/h by the Ministry of Health for Drinking Water applications.
Best regards,
Hello,
If the water is chemically drinkable, the UV treatment ensures the biological potabilization of the water.
Good for you

Good evening,
It really depends on what you want to do and the quality of the water to be treated.

Hello,
If in terms of chemical pollution (pesticides, micropollutant) the water is healthy. The UV will allow you to biologically treat your water (Bacteria, Viruses...).

Hello,
In order to obtain drinking water from raw water, it would first be necessary to have a complete analysis of this water. Indeed, drinking water standards concern both: physicochemical parameters (mineral salts, metals, pesticides, etc.) and bacteriological parameters (coliforms, enterococci, etc.).
The osmosis treatment that you suggested can indeed solve the problems of physico-chemical parameters, but a simple filtration could also suffice. Indeed, the technical choice of equipment will depend on the analysis results obtained.
UV treatment is one of the solutions authorized by the Ministry of Health (cf Ministerial Decree of 09/10/12 in force) for the treatment of drinking water intended for human consumption.
We remain at your disposal to establish a personalized technical offer.
