Description
The Dosatron D8IL3000 EX is an ATEX-certified, water-powered proportional dosing pump designed for use in hazardous environments, including surface and mining industries, with installation suitability for Zone 0, Zone 1, and Zone 2. Operating without electricity, it delivers proportional dosing where the injection ratio remains dependent on (and proportional to) the water flow, helping maintain consistent additive dosing across variable operating conditions. The D8IL3000 EX uses outlet injection and is engineered for industrial chemical dosing applications where electrical power is limited or where ignition risks must be minimized.
This proportional dosing pump covers practical water flow requirements from 500 l/h up to 8 m³/h, while operating with a water pressure range of 0.2 to 8 bar. The adjustable injection range is 0.03 to 0.125 (ratio 1:3000 to 1:800), enabling low-percentage dosing for process additives. Concentrated additive injection capacity is specified from 0.15 to 10 l/h, supported by a stroke volume of approximately 1.7 l. The unit features NPT-BSP 1 1/2" male connections (Ø 40×49 mm) and is supplied with a PTFE hose sized Ø 4×6 mm with a length of 1.75 m.
